The classic Martell Cordon Bleu was first bottled in 1912 by Edouard Martell. This iconic Martell Cordon Bleu brandy has since become synonyms with the highest standard of quality when it comes to cognacs.

Martell is the oldest of great Cognac Houses.  Because it was founded in 1715, some refer to Martell Cognac as Martell 1715. The first cases of Martell arrived in China in 1858 and in Malaysia in 1875. That’s more than a century of good Martell in Malaysia.

Aged in fine-grain oak barrels, the Martell Cordon Bleu is a classic and unequalled in the world of cognac. The deep, golden copper gives an impression that the Cordon Bleu is full of flavour. And indeed it is.

Martell Cordon Bleu reviews have noted that there is a well-rounded mellowness to this brandy. A sustained finish with fruity and spice notes on the palate gives an added complexity to the final elegance of this drink.

On the nose, aromas of crystallised plums and apples with hints of mocha coffee, toasted almonds and vetiver just enhances the taste of the glass of Martell. The explosion of deliciously fruited on your tongue and spicy notes effortlessly links elegance to the bottle.

The richness of Martell Cognac comes from the brand understanding and respecting the multiple ways of enjoying their cognac. The iconic Cordon Bleu is one of the best cognacs around.

In fact, Malaysia is the second largest market for Martell Cognac globally which means we Malaysians sure know how to enjoy a glass of good ol’ brandy. The Martell company in Malaysia has taken this brandy to the next level with hosting parties and tastings.

When it comes to drinking cognacs, there are many ways to enjoy it. The image of smoky rooms and cigars is what comes to mind but having a glass in your own home is just as enjoyable. You can drink it neat, over ice or diluted with water. It can be mixed with quality mixers such as soda or lemonade or mixed to be made into a cocktail.

How to open a Martell Cordon Bleu bottle or how to drink cognac, you may ask? Opening the bottle is not too hard and to thoroughly ensure you drink it right, well the key is to actually drink it! Take the time to drink and enjoy it. Don’t taste it alone, share it with your friends!

However, to store your bottle of Cordon Bleu, it is best that it is stored in an upright position so that the cognac does not come into contact with the cork. Ideal for birthday celebrations, graduations, weddings and generally for special occasions, purchase a bottle now. Remember not to drink your Martell Bleu by yourself. A drink shared with friends and family is happiness shared.
